Access Hollywood caught with George at the premiere of his latest, where he enthusiastically gave his 20-year-old co-star his stamp of approval after having a little bit of fun of course. I dont like her. I didnt really have to work with her. It was all green screen, the actor joked when asked about Shailene, who plays his daughter in the Alexander Payne-directed movie. All jokes aside, George had nothing but praise for the actress best known for her role on ABC Familys The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Shes something else. Shes a very special girl, he told Access. I think shes going to have an amazing career. The actor, who is already getting Oscar buzz for his roles in The Ides of March and The Descendants, remained humble about any possible future accolades. Its nice to have films that people like out there. Its always fun to do that. Its just exciting to have that, George said. Ive been the front runner a couple of times and have lost. So I dont ever listen I really do enjoy movies. I really like being in them and I like seeing them, thats all I really think about and worry about. The rest, I kind of let do its thing.
