Spicy sales for Salt

London-based sales outfit Salt has secured a raft of pre-sales on Adam Brody and Jean-Claude Van Damme starrer "Welcome to the Jungle."Pic, which is currently lensing in Puerto Rico, has sold to eOne for Canada, Ascot Elite for German-speaking Europe, Transmission for Oz and New Zealand and Pasatiempo for Latin America.Other international sales include Scandinavia (Mis Label), Greece (Tanweer), Turkey (SPI), Eastern Europe (Freeman), CIS (Super Music), China (HGC), India (Pictureworks), Indonesia (PT Amero) and Middle East (Front Row).Pic, helmed by Rob Melzer, follows an ex-boy scout, Chris, who is regularly bullied in his workplace. When the whole office is sent on a wilderness retreat in a team building exercise headed up by an ex-Marine (Van Damme) who is soon attacked by a wild cougar, chaos ensues and Chris has to break out of his shell.Justin Kanew and Luillo Ruiz for Pimienta, Salt's Puerto Rico based sister production company, produce the pic while Jeff Kauffmann pens the script.The Salt Company secured financing and is handling international sales on the pic.
