my cells divide but it feels like heaven and hell collide
explosions in my mind and eagerness is felt inside
ripping my skin apart like slashes from rusty knife
who knew the path to success would be a bumpy ride
with no support its got me feeling like a spongy spine
ive tasted greatness, but now i let my hunger thrive
as it eats away the pride that ive worked hard to gain
i feed the evil nothing its the only way to starve this pain
and when im feeling weak i pray on all my memories
the times of joy the times of love im feeding off its energies
waiting for the day that all the pieces find their way
back to my soul, and there is where they all shall stay
keep them glued in place and never let them drift astray
and when they try to run ill remind myself not to chase
cuz they wont get far, they need my body to survive
dreams are crazy, they can take over your life
